Keeping Busy

My apologies for the very late post my friends. I had a driving lesson early in the day and wanted to write a post when I got back. Then I decided to take a quick walk into town when I got back, and then I saw that I have a lot of work to get done and not a lot of time to get it done. Needless to say I really am keeping busy.

I have about three or four hours worth of work left ahead of me. I hope it doesn't take that long given that it's already the middle of the afternoon. Can't be helped though. Someone ordered three lots of articles with a 24 hour delivery. I could certainly use the extra money.

The driving lesson went smoothly with no accidents as always. Someone clearly had some accidents though as I ran into three ambulances during the lesson. We also drove past an actual crash, but I couldn't get a good look. One of the downsides of being the driver is that you can't stop and stare at a car crash as you go past it. Not unless you want to cause another one anyway.

Now I have no more driving lessons left until my test on the 6th in a week and a half. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't nervous about it. All that failure really gets to a person. Still, they do say that the third time is a charm. Now to settle in and buckle down and do a lot of work.

See you on the other side, assuming I survive all this.

  1. I wish all drivers had your attitude to looking at accidents. Too often, my trips down the freeway are held up by people slowing/stopping to look at an accident in the lanes of traffic going the other way.

  2. "three articles with 24 hour delivery"
It's like they want you to fail. Is that... theoretically possible, someone ordering so many articles on so tight a deadline that you can't possibly deliver, deliberately setting you up for a "not as fast as promised" review? That's diabolical.
