Further Adventures In Weight Loss

Tuesday was, at best, a mixed day for me. It did not start out that well. I was tired and depressed for most of the day, but there was one pretty good bit of news; I got weighed. The result was pretty good but unfortunately I had problems accepting that thanks to being, as I said, a little bit down.

I've forgotten already how much I lost in kilograms, but I can tell you that it was about 12 pounds. In seven weeks. That's not bad at all. I'm on a plan to lose 2 pounds a week. 12 pounds is just under the target of 14 pounds. The reason there was seven weeks inbetween getting weighed is that my nutritionist got chicken pox.

I built a bed.

I actually kind of lucked out and it was a good thing that the visit got delayed. It's good given all the pizza I managed to consume in the past seven weeks. A few days before she was originally supposed to see me was my birthday. I was alone for it this year and I decided to drown my loneliness in pizza. It would have been far less of a loss which would have upset me, even though I'd have had a legitimate reason. I have another appointment in five weeks to get weighed again. Here's hoping that I don't let myself down, and can pull off another big loss.

    1. Thanks guy(s). I always use pounds anyway because it sounds like a much bigger loss to say 12 pounds over 5 kilos. My nutritionist deals in kilos though.
