Alice Cooper

This post is late because I did that annoying thing I do where I wake up about five times before actually staying up. In a moment of cute cattiness my cat put her paw on my cheek, as if to tell me to stay right where I was because she was comfortable. Anyway, I listened to a song I haven't heard to in a while yesterday, called How You Gonna See Me Now, by Alice Cooper. Alice Cooper, despite his image, has made a lot of soulful and beautiful music, and today I'm going to share two of those with you. The first isn't that song, but is Only Women Bleed, which is about how he would treat his wife. During the live version that I'm going to share he says "I" but in the studio it was in the 3rd person.

The second, the aforementioned How You Gonna See Me Now is based on a letter he wrote to his wife in rehab about the mistakes he made, and wondering, well, how she's going to see him now.

Pretty sure my mum still blames him for my make up phase. If she remembers him, and that time.

  5. Love me some Alice Cooper. He actually has a really great radio show that he does here called "Nights with Alice Cooper". Plus he's a hometown boy, so there's a special place in my heart...
