A Tribute

So I'm back once again with another podcast that is hopefully better than the one I did last week. I'm not so sure if it is, but I sounded a bit more like myself at least. I went off on numerous tangents and took over 13 minutes to get to the bloody point. What was the point? Well it was a little tribute to fellow blogger Megan Adamson from Lady of Muse. It was all done with her permission, and I hope she likes it, but I was very tired and her poetry is a lot better than I make it sound. Megan is a wonderful poet, and story teller, and I felt like more people needed to read her stuff, so I decided to do something most people seem to enjoy, a poetry reading.

  1. Well you're not called rambling for nothing, I enjoyed Megans blog especially "Dark Lady", one thing which could be my problem but I can barely hear your voice on the podcast and I have my laptop at full volume but it could be me!

  2. After listening to this I really want to check out Megan's blog because I really don't want to die haha and because it sounds good, the poetry is lovely and I have no issue at all with the reading you're doing, great podcast buddy,

  3. It's not just you, Angry. This one was pretty quiet and a touch muffled, and I had my speakers full blast just so I could hear.

    I'm intrigued by Ms. Dark Lady, and I'm off to check out her blog.

  4. Yeah Mark, you should record these on Tuesday not Thursday! They're way better then!!

    The poems sound intreging but (like you said) your voice didn't do them justice!

    I look forward to next weeks podcast!

  5. YOLO! Why bother to ask people's permission to podcast about them? You think Perez Hilton asks people's permission to write about them? Do you think anyone asks Bad Luck Brian permission to plaster his face all over the internet? Uhhh... maybe those aren't the two best examples. What was my point anyway??

  6. Oh here's a suggestion for people having trouble hearing the podcast. Use headphones. Mark is coming in loud and clear for me...

  8. Well, where do I start? I knew this was coming, and I write my poems to be read aloud...and I though this was really great Mark!

    {Ok, so you asked if you could read ONE, but I don't care, just do it!}

    You did this really well, and at least I'm getting a mention. I just write as a hobby and not meant to be serious, although some of my dark stuff comes across that way. I reckon Mark and I have a lot more in common...writing wise, and it was his encouragement that got me posting my own stuff...but, in the words of Mark, there we go! ;)

  9. She does have a wonderful blog. I'm not much of a poetry person but I make exceptions for her. :P
