Tim Vine

This is a comedian that's kind of new to me too. I knew about him, but I've only seen him in sitcoms. Well, one sitcom. Not Going Out, which he's in with Lee Mack. It's a good show, but I saw a live show of his recently (thank you Netflix) and I actually had no idea he was also a stand up. He's very funny on stage. He mostly sticks to one liners and comedy props, but it's really good. Normally one liners drag on and get old, but I watched a full hour of this guy and kept laughing. Anyway, this is way too much text, it's video time.

  4. This guy's accent reminds me of the time I was watching the britcom "As Time Goes By" with Judi Dench and Geoffrey Palmer. For some reason, I decided to start talking in the accent of the character Lyle played by Palmer. Then my roommate at the time came home, and I was still talking to him in the accent, and he looked at me like I was completely insane. As you can imagine we did not remain roommates for very long.

  7. We have seen him doing stand-up for sometime now, and on 7th October 2004, he broke the Guinness World Record for the most jokes told in an hour with 499, beating the previous record of 362. Each joke told had to get a laugh from the paying audience to count towards the record. He held the record until May 2005, when Australian comedian, Anthony "Lehmo" Lehmann told 549 jokes.

  9. One-Liner comedians are the most consostently funny of the comedic race. Jimmy Carr is amazing and we've got some local guys in Adelaide who are awesome.

  11. I can't comment on your latest post. Anywho, did you ever manage to get any more traffic to your site? I get some spikes now and then but can't manage to get over ~120 views on a regular day. Did any of the stuff you did pay off?

  13. I wanted to like him because I like all of the comedians you've exposed me to, but I couldn't. The one liners...it's too easy.
