Bill Bailey

Once again I didn't have anything prepared, and this time I didn't realise it until about 8 am this morning. I do have an excuse this time though, other than the fact I'm slowly going more insane each day. Me and Jessie went to my sisters 16th surprise birthday party yesterday, and, well, we were pretty out of place there. I'll have to tell you about that some other time though, this way I can do a post about it some time next week and exist for slightly longer. I wonder at what point my insanity and lack of ability to think and write is going to outweigh my desire to post something every day. That would be the point I lost to it I think. Anyway, in the spirit of needing a good laugh, and boy howdy do I need a good laugh, I have a couple of videos for you this time. As you might have guessed the comedian is Bill Bailey, who is not just a comedic genius, but a musical one too. He plays a lot of songs during his shows, and he is very good at what he does. So, for your amusement, and mine, Bill Bailey.

Seriously, how can I feel pain?
One of the most brilliant racial unity songs I've ever heard. I also didn't know it was a tribute to Bryan Adams, which makes it a lot better really.

And finally a damning look at both the music in the charts and texting

Have a good day folks.

  1. He kinda looks like The Big Show. Maybe because he's bald on the top?

I envy his songwriting skills and his acoustic electric.

  5. Ok, another comedian I have never heard of! Thanks - I really enjoyed the videos.

So... I'm wondering... how come you post every day? I mean, if it's something you enjoy doing - then obviously that's great. But from what you wrote today it sounds like it's sometimes a bit of a struggle? I would hate to see you overdosing on posts and then phasing out of blogging completely!

    1. I'm glad you liked him. His stand up as well has his music is very good. I have a whole page dedicated to why I post every day, so as much as I'd love to get another post out of it, I can't really. My problems with blogging are caused by external sources, not with blogging itself. I don't think I'm burnt out yet really. I'm just having personal problems. Posting every day isn't that much of a struggle, it's just writing is becoming one. I don't think I'm likely to go away any time soon :)

  15. Why were you so terribly out of place as that party? And why are you growing more and more insane? Is it the usual shit, or what?

    1. Well I can get into the first question easy enough soon. I don't know what usual shit is, but for me that covers a lot, and usually is the answer.
