33 Questions And Me (Or How I Talked For 17 Minutes)

I woke up pretty damn early after writing poetry at 2am. Literally. I was literally writing at 2am dammit. I thought seeing as I woke up this early then I might as well publish this early, though I doubt anyone would really read it any earlier.

I said I would do this, and I did it. My very first podcast. I've already explained before this isn't the first podcast I wanted to do, but it is the first one I'm doing. If I can salvage my other one I may edit it and make it into one anyway. For now, sit back, and enjoy as I talk for 17 freakin minutes! I know at least one person who may enjoy this. But I hope some more of you do too.

It didn't want to work with me in previews and if it doesn't want to work when the time comes you can find the podcast here:http://ramblingperson.podbean.com/2012/02/20/first-postqa/ I may be on iTunes too but I have no idea.

If you have other ideas for me to do with podcasts then please tell me and I'll see what I can do.

  1. Gratz on your first podcast. I'm on the 3rd minute and still listening. Poetry at 2 am is very familiar to me.

    I'll type it again.
Thank you so much for this podcast, and for helping me last night. I am learning as much as I can about them before I record my first podcast later in the week. You have such a lovely voice. It's soothing like my evening tea.

  3. Awesome podcast, or V-cast, or whatever it is that they are meant to be called.

It's always interesting to be able to put a voice to these blogs. From now on whenever I'm reading them I'll be able to hear your voice in my head :)

  4. You have the loveliest accent! :D

I smiled when you said your heart is black. :p And then, you changed your answer to green. hehe. Your childhood ambition it to be a fighter pilot! I actually wanted to be one, too.. A pilot. When I was a kid. I wanted to be a doctor, an astronaut and a pilot. But well, I'm afraid of blood and I don't do well on heights. lol.

Hahaha! Oh goodness. your laugh is contagious! LOL..

  5. The pony soundtrack is nothing to be embarrassed about!
Hot chocolate is the best dude. You know your stuff! 8D
"I love cats but my favourite animal"- DOGS DOGS- yeah wolves are really very cool too. Wolves are bros.
Also dude stop starting thinking "another day of suffering" when you get up. Instead, try to think "today's going to be awesome!"
Also, green aura? Supposedly a healer is you!
Who do you desperately want to meet?
Why not ever take drugs? You only live once, so why not at least try it?
You're laughing at life, which is a god start. But yeah, MAKE them different. Don't wish, act! But you should be fine either way. ;D
Yes you bored me to death. But yes, I still love you.

(Also maybe we should do a collab podcast sometime!)

    1. There are too many people I really want to meet. Though just in case she reads this I desperately want to meet Tay. I do actually. Bah. Anyway, I don't take drugs because point A) I don't have a dealer, and point B) I don't have the money if I do anyway. I also just like to stay in complete control of my mind. I'm laughing at the ridiculous concept I could be happy with life :P I am also working on acting. You can't have been that bored if you wrote that much about it. Down with a podcast too.

  7. You've got a hypnotic voice, some secret with your feet and there is nothing wrong with Burger King but I will say McDonald's make the better fries, cut length in half next time.....very good work.

    1. Cheers dude. McDonald's make better burgers too. Though neither of them look like they should.

  8. Tagged five times! Such a popular guy. ;)

"Dragons are real by the way." That made me giggle. :)

And we have very similar first thoughts in the morning. And then I also check my phone.

  10. Three things:

    1) I miss mattress sliding!
    2) I'd go back to Jesus' time too. So I can high-five him. And miss.
    3) Amen to what you said about being straight edge. Although I'd like to try drugs when I get older and more responsible and more mature and a lot of other mores.

    4) And duuuuude. Your acceeeent. I'm sorta kinda in love with it.

(LOOK I'M SO GOOD AT COUNTING)

  11. AWESOMWE!!! A pod cast! I definitely enjoyed it!!

Glad you stayed consistent too! You answered the Jesus question before and the favourite animal question and you gave the same answer now as you did then! I love consistency! It means your being truthfull!

I listened to your podcast as I blogged! It felt like we were hanging out as I blogged!! Great!!!

Have you ever thought of just talking about stuff and seeing where you go with it (with no forethought). Just record your self and talk! I think that would be awesome to hear!

Please make more podcasts! There are great!

    2. I would like to make more but I'm not good with starting at nothing and seeing where it goes. I tried it with writing before and I just ended up staring at a blank screen.

    3. Its some thing you have to practice at. As a kid I would make up storys on the fly to test my ability! Even though they would be just silly storys and only half make sence I got better at it.
Please try it once! Heck if it "suck" just email it to me so I can hear it!

    4. I need something to start with, even just one word, and then I can get going. I've written poems and stories based off one or two sentences, sometimes just a few words, but I need that initial start. Kinda hard to say I'm not creative now though.

      Delete
    5. Heres your start: "Bersercules asked me to make a post where I talk on randomly about stuff so that is what I am doing right now"

      Delete
  12. why not just keep it to 3 questions?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Because 33 questions is just way cooler.

  13. You sound EXACTLY like one of my co-workers. And no, it's not just because you have a british accent. Which, by the way, makes you more interesting. :-)

Congrats on the podcast. I enjoyed it!

    1. It doesn't make me interesting it just makes me easier to listen to :P I'm glad you enjoyed it.

  14. I enjoyed listening to the podcast and I LOVE THE ACCENT. Maybe it's because i just like british accent? except a couple i've heard that just made me cringe..jesus! I liked your answers (:

    1. Thanks. There are some accents from here that aren't so great but so far positive for mine yay.

  15. I will endeavour to give your podcast a listen when it is more appropriate. Visiting my mum and sister at the moment - it's bad enough I am seeking PC time, let alone get a podcast going!

  19. Good listen, did it while commenting on others posts. And, so thats that you sound like lol. Its always funny to hear what people sound like for the first time because its never what you imagine lol.

Idk if its just me but, when I read I always try to have the voice in my head sound like what I think the author may sound like lol..never my own.

  21. Now that I've become acclimated to your posh accent I should say that I wish you had more exuberance in your voice.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. My accent is far from posh. If by exuberance you mean I talk like I'm not half dead then that could take a while. I laughed, what more do you want? Though I know I can sound a bit monotonous.

  22. I like the change of pace. Nice podcast. Probably the best way to handle being tagged so many times

  23. Damn my busy-ness. Definitely going to roll a full listen tomorrow when I'm home for more than ten minutes at a time after work. Initial thought: I feel like you should be a narrator on the American Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) when they do their Masterpiece Theatre stuff. Your calm, British voice describing high-class British television dramas for low-class Americans. Damn my non-awesome, middle-of-the-road, Upper-Midwest accent.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Hope you get to give it a full listen. It would be cool to narrate something but I don't know if that should be it. If you want to hear that that badly I could do just do that but I don't watch much, if any, high class British drama. My accent is pretty common too sadly, and it's not that posh.

      Delete
  24. I actually did give it a full listen, and I can say you didn't shoot them questions down... although I've got just one query. Why were you laughing at the "Are you happy with life?" question?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I laughed at the absurd notion I could be happy with life. I'm not sure anyone got it really, though they liked my laugh so that's fine.

      Delete
    2. Through the context of your laugh, I could tell right away why you were doing so.

      Delete
    3. Thank you, I'm glad someone did.

  25. I'll listen to it soon, once I actually have sound coming out from my computer.

  26. I could pick multiple albums I could listen to on loop all day, I guess I don't get sick of music that easily. Hope you do more podcasts in the future.

    1. Me too. I could listen to several albums on loop all the time but I could never pick just one.

  28. Now I will be hearing your voice when I read your posts.

  29. I thought that was a really good answer about wanting to be around in the time of Jesus if you had the chance. I suppose most people would either be extremely disappointed, or extremely happy about what they would find out, if they had that opportunity. Or maybe we would learn something we totally would not expect, or could even imagine.

    1. I think that it could be pretty bad though, I think it's better people have faith rather than know for sure.

  30. I liked your answer about going back n seeing Jesus, that's original! Not heard anyone say that.
Your laugh startled me! Not because it's scary, but because I had the volume quite high and didn't expect that random laugh!!
Great podcast! Look forward to more!
