Dear Apple

First off, I wrote this before what happened to Steve Jobs, I mean no disrespect to him, his memory, or anything. He was loved by many and he will be missed by many. Goodnight sweet prince.

This isn't going to be some sort of hate filled rant towards Apple, though I may do that some time (despite being a long term iPod owner). No, this is an idea I came up with about a week ago, but was only able to share with you today because, well, it's my blog and I'll do what I want. I considered other things more important, and by now you might have seen this idea on my facebook or Twitter but there are some of you who don't follow me on Twitter or read my Twitter feed (you should, it can be hilarious).

So, what is my masterful idea? Well I came up with this, or at least I said it before I saw anyone else say it. "How hard is to put a lot of iPads together and call it an iWall?". Seriously, the iPad is just four iPhones stuck together.
Pics or it didn't happen? It just happened
I for one would actually love this, and would totally buy it. In old futuristic shows from the 80's and such there was the interactive house and some movies and such did have interactive walls. I have no evidence BUT I'm saying this happened.

I mean, imagine it, you could have it so that it displays sunny skies and such on bright days, and shows stars at night, you could make it rain in your room if you were feeling depressed, and imagine the seriously badass surround sound you would get.

Who would not want this?

Seriously Apple, you do this, I think you easily have the technology, or can have it, and I will love your forever, and I will buy them. I really would. You could even stick on on the ceiling and turn it into the Hogwarts Great Hall. Seriously, I want this to happen. I don't care if they steal my idea, I want them to do this.

If this stuff actually exists then for the love of Eris tell me where to get it.
I would buy Christmas trees just to do this. I really would.

  1. Completely unpractical, waaay too expensive, and just not all that great.

  2. Google is actually introducing Android@home which is the way to go what you looking for

  3. @Fang That is Apple in general, but an interactive wall. That would be amazing.

@Mo I'd rather not help Google in their global takeover operations.

  4. I would LOVE an interactive ceiling, full of stars or fireworks or lightning?!

Las Vegas has something like that, covering a city block. I think it's called Fremont Street or something equally non-descriptive...

    Pearl

  5. @Pearl yet another reason for me to go to Las Vegas.

  6. all the while I was thinking of Stevie Wonder. UgH! I'm such an idiot..T_T

    sad news though :(

  7. Wouldn't be easier to make the I-TV? You know...a touchscreen tv that runs the same OS than a macbook or something. It's more feasible actually. And then, you can connect 4 or as many as TV's as you want like every other wall made of lcd TV's

  8. That thing would eat electricity like a fat kid eats cake.

    There goes your utilities bill.

  9. Bahaha such ridiculous but fancy idea. Why not buy 10 ipads and patch em all together nothing a good ol' ductape can't do!

    ReplyDelete
  10. @Hasidic Plumber I would love one of those too, we already have touchscreens the size of TV's, I think somewhere there must exist a touchscreen TV. It is a cool idea though. Very cool.

@DWei Simple solution, we power it with fat kids eating cake. But for the power thing you can make it solar powered (at least partly) and stick it on the wall opposite a window, and let it power itself. Stop killing my dreams :(

@Dilord This is a solution but getting them all to run part of something so it fits into one giant picture would take ages :P

  11. So it would seem that Steve Jobs was just as disappointed in the iPhone 4S as everyone else was

    ReplyDelete
  12. @Reily apparently he said "They'll love the iPhone 4S, I bet my life on it". If he did it's almost a cosmic irony.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Do you really have the money to buy all that crap and pay the insane electric bill? Would be cool to see though!

    ReplyDelete
  14. That would cost like a small fortune.. and I don't think I would need it that badly.

You mention google and it's world takeover plans and actually think, that apple is not part of that? Don't be naive, bro.

  15. @Danjor I don't, no, which is the biggest shame. Essentially what I did here was turn a joke into a post, but it is still something I would love to see.

@Bob If I had a small fortune and could pay the bills I'd do it. Apple used to be part of the global takeover, but they won't be able to do it without Steve Jobs and his ability to convince people they need to buy something that costs 4 times as much as something that's better, and they need to buy a "new" version of it every six months. But maybe the new guy can do that too.

  16. I've seen touchscreen coffee tables that are basically just bigger ipads.

btw, I had to delete and repost my last post. If you have the time, please comment on it again :)

  17. @Shaw I've heard of those, but never seen one myself. Don't you use them to order drinks and such with? That's a pretty cool idea, as long as it's food and drink proof, but it does kind of cut down on the need for waiters :(

I can now leave an even better comment lol.

  18. People would buy shit if you sell it.

    ReplyDelete
  19. An iWall? lol
I wouldn't be surprise if they make something like that.

    ReplyDelete
  20. iReality would be the final frontier. We just plug ourselves into our giant iDevice and live in an APPLE style Matrix. No flash though. sorry.

  21. @My 2 Pesos only if you work for Apple!

@Film Geek Bastard I kind of want an iPod touch, kind of, but I think if it came down to it I would choose a blackberry of some kind.

@Itredasting Blog I want them to

@MRanthrope iLol'd Then I wanted to cry because this could and probably will happen eventually. Or maybe it already has and Mac haters are on par with Morpheus but don't realise it. I'm gonna try and run up my house and jump across to the other one now.

  22. Lol nice!

I've returned after a while, please check out my new layout!

and leave a comment in which u tell me what u think :D

    Thnx!

    ReplyDelete
  23. Well that post didn't really have anything to do with his passing.

    ReplyDelete
  24. @Henry That's because I did in fact self censor when I said I wouldn't originally I said "People are wondering how Apple will be without Steve Jobs". If I had left it how it was it could have been perceived as offensive, and eh, I sold out.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Fuck that shit, I just want a holodeck.

Apparently some inconsiderate people think that the death of Steve Jobs is suitable material for making jokes about.

    iDont.

    ReplyDelete
  26. ps Is your blog stalking mine...your ads at the bottom are showing me a wallpaper shop !
How bizarre, but I'm off to check it out - that'll make 2p for you.

    ReplyDelete
  27. @Dirtycowgirl iLOL'd. I've seen some Steve Jobs jokes, some are surprisingly creative. I want me a holodeck too but holograms seem a long ways away. Or maybe not. Eh. But yes I would love one. As for the ads, I wish they were showing things people wanted. I didn't earn enough last month to get a paycheck this month. It sucks. But hey I guess I gotta live with it. Or not seeing as it all went to my dad, and I even cancelled buying something iWanted. Okay I'll stop with the i's now.

  33. @Indistinctive Writer Thanks for letting me know they exist :D God I want one.

    ReplyDelete
  34. That would be amazing! Though you could use it as a form of punisment too - making them display images of flames so that people freak out thinking that they're in Hell lol!

Yeah... I think I just showed my evil twisted side lol!

    ReplyDelete
  35. @Hazel Please sister that is far from twisted. Like the Youtube clip proved they do exist, I think they just aren't in homes yet :(

  36. Solar Power?
    Solar Power.
You're pretty fucked when it's winter though.
Also, don't try this in Scandinavia.
    Signed,
It's a good idea and you should totally go for it.

    ReplyDelete
  37. @Majin_Curse I've since been informed these are real things, but they're only in big buildings and things, I'm looking forward to the day when we can create artificial sunlight that gives more energy than it takes to make it.

    ReplyDelete
  38. That would be fucking awesome. Have you seen the movie Gamer? I saw it a pretty long time ago, don't remember all the specifics but I remember Logan Lerman had this REALLY DAMN AWESOME room that was basically this x all the walls and the ceiling. DO WANT. Also, am I annoying you yet, with my insistent perusal of your past endeavors and commenting five months after the fact? x'D.

    1. I've not seen that movie but I want. WANT WANT WANT. I'm not annoyed at all, please keep it up. I'm even mentioning you in tomorrows post now :P

  39. So your idea is to turn your whole interior home into an interactive "I-Home" where the walls floors and ceilings are basically gigantic touch screens? sounds like fun! but expensive to replace if you happen to trip and crack the screen with your head.
