Up The Irons

Thanks for the ideas for what to write about, I'll get to work on that as soon as I can, look forward to their write ups :) As for today's music post. I got a good response from Wuthering Heights, so today I thought I would share with you some more kick ass heavy metal/rock/whatever you want to call it personally I prefer AWESOME. On today's agenda is Iron Maiden. This is a great song of theirs that I think had Blaze Bailey for the vocals, although Bruce has done his own version. Or maybe Bruce did this version. I don't really know, but I do know this is a great song from a great album from a great great band.

UP THE IRONS!

I included two versions because Vbox loads slowly, but hopefully it won't restrict people from watching it like Yewtewbs can. Hopefully.

  3. Iron Maiden might be the first band i've seen live in my life. It was quite a show, i still remember the huge inflatable Eddie figure.

  4. Iron Maiden was actually one of the first bands I saw live too. My granddad was a huge metal head, I owe him my taste in music entirely. Good times.

  5. I dont have any of Maiden's Blaze era albums but have heard this song before, on their Rock In Rio DVD. Of course Bruce sang that one.

  7. Bruce wasn't part of iron maiden during Virtual XL. And one other album. Personally, doesn't get better than Bruce Dickinson. Baily just didn't cut it for me. Maybe because Bruce is the only white man allowed to sing about Native Americans.

  14. @Generally Disgruntled And the only person able to sing about black people too I've noticed. His solo work is amazing, maybe I'll put some of that up some time.
