So yesterday I got a Liebster award doohickey from the lovely Mai Yang. Thank you very much for that. It's nice to know that I am in a list of someone's favourite blogs, I'm hardly in my own list of favourite blogs really. Anyway, that's a thank you to her, and a link (her name is a link in case you didn't notice...though I don't think you could have). So that's part one of my obligations down.
Part two is something I'm actually going to talk about rather than just do. Because I'm me, and I can't do anything without talking about it. Although sometimes I do actually do things without any grasp of my reasons why. So, yes, part two of my obligations as a receiver of this award.
Liebster Award” German word means “favorite”
-it should be spread to five bloggers
-thank and link back to the sender
-bloggers followers must be less than 200
At first I was kind of apprehensive about this. Partly because I couldn't really pick just five, partly because I didn't want to pick someone else that Mai picked, and she picked the people I would have, and partly because it all just seems like too much of a chain letter, or as someone else put it, a tagging game. I don't really go into those, and this did make me not totally want to do it. But then I got to really thinking, and decided that as well as being that, it's a way to say to someone "I seriously freakin love your blog." so that let me get over it. So, here are the five people I'm going to pass this along to, and God I hope they read it. Although I'll say this now, I'm not to fussed if you don't thank me, or link back to me, or pass it on yourself. I'm just trying to say thanks for posting good stuff, and I like what you do.
Also if you're name is not on the list, please understand it was hard as Hell for me to pick just five, I'll add your name to my list of blogs to check out, it's all the way up there ^. I'm more than happy to do that, so without further ado, five awesome blogs. Oh wait there is some more ado. Pope Timothy and Cray, I love your blogs, but you didn't make the list because you made Mai's, and like I said, I didn't want to use the same people she did. You are on my list of favourite blogs.
Okay, let's try this again:
1: The generally disgruntled malcontent of http://ageneralmalcontent.blogspot.com/. He speaks wise words, and does it in an interesting way. Follow him, and learn from him. Plus he's a really cool guy. He was the first person to use the contact me form, and we've chatted a bit off the blog.
2. Bob of http://gamingclasshero.blogspot.com/. On his last blog post we actually went totally off topic and had a discussion about anime in the comment section. All around cool guy, and like me his blog doesn't seem to be about much. It's not totally about gaming, but it is all good. He's funny and easily worth a read.
3. Fang http://blog.fangtalks.com/. Fang puts up a post a day, and puts up a lot of effort into his blog. Fang is someone I can like, and respect. Best of all, the blog is good! When Fang talks, please listen. It'll be worth it, I'm sure. Plus we're doing a collab post there today (hopefully) so be sure to follow or just check back later to check it out. I won't be putting it up here, as I already have a post up today, but I will be putting a link to it in a page.
4. Neon at http://utneon.blogspot.com/. Neon's been around this place for a while, and reads my work and comments a lot, and is a pretty good follower but other than that he has a good blog himself. It does seem to mostly be about gaming, and also features a video or two from his own gaming sessions. He doesn't update every day, but when he does, it might be small, but it's worth it. Remember, size doesn't matter. Or so I keep telling myself.
Last but not least, number five
The Hassidic plumber from http://hasidicplumber.blogspot.com/. I'm not trying to butter him up or anything. Against his will anyway. Or while he's awake. His blog is new, but it's funny, and he does put effort into it, and he typically always replies to a comment you leave. He's easily someone I can get behind and support. It's just a shame he's so far away because I do have some plumbing work he could do. Plus he says he'll do an interview with me. Again, I won't post it here, but I will post a link to it.
So, yes, that's all five, and I've thanked and linked to Mai, so that's that done. If you didn't make the top five, again, don't despair. It was hard to come up with those five, I wanted to just keep naming people, so wait until you see the page of blogs to check out before complaining to me. That page also has comments, so leave one there if you want to be added to it!
Now I'm off to slip into a coma.
