Who loves Orange Soda?

I took a walk on the childish side today and found myself watching some old TV shows from when I was younger. One such thing was Kenan and Kel...alright it was the only thing, but I do intend to watch more of them. Kenan and Kel and more shows.

I really do love this show. I did when I was younger, and I still admire it now. It's always good when a show can stand up to the test of time, and you don't need nostalgia goggles to watch it.

Every time I see some Orange Soda (Orangeade to all my fellow non-Americans) I still think "Who loves Orange Soda? Kel loves Orange Soda, yes I doooo-oooooooooooooo!" Not much can beat the whacky antics of whacky people like these guys.

The first episode of the series, and thus the first I watched was where Kenan tries to sue a Tuna company for 10 million after finding a screw in a tin of it, and I'm writing while half way through the episode, so even if I didn't hate spoilers, I still wouldn't be able to spoilt it for the good folks at home.

It's taking a lot out of me to not complain about the state of kids shows these days, but it really is the job of a generation to complain about all the generations that come after it, and already my generation has passed, but hey this one isn't all that bad, and I'm trying to have some fun, not complain.

Part of me hopes that if I ever end up in court (God willing I never do end up there) I high five the baileff when I do the swearing.

One of the reasons this blog has been so serious, and thus boring, at least I think it has, is because I haven't been kicking back, and having some fun, so maybe if I have more fun, it'll get better. I just don't really like being so laid back, I feel that I just have to be so serious all the time.

I really hope I learn to kick back, and have some fun with myself and with my blog. There are some things that I'm going to have to be serious about, but stick with me, I'll make it worth your while.

In closing

I don't know if I'm getting old and just don't get the new kids shows these days, but they are not a patch on what we had. Then again, my parents felt the same about what I watched LOL I swore I would never do that, oh well

  5. I get that too sometimes. That I'm so serious and down all the time that I just have to kick back and take the time to really enjoy something. (Also, this reminds me I haven't had orange soda in a LONG time.) I also think that the TV shows from 10 years ago were generally more well-made than those kids watch these days, but I for one really enjoy watching Phineas and Ferb. As for Kenan and Kel, the episodes I most remember watching as a kid were where they had this argument over whether the map led to a safe or a sofa and it turned out to be a sofa inside a safe, the one where Kel has to do this packing competition and dreams he's stuck inside the paper bag, and the one where they have to watch the house and the cockatoo dies. Or something. x'D. Anyway, since I have time to spare, I just figured I'd start at the beginning of your blog and browse through to now. Then I can follow you and read all your new posts with background knowledge! :'D.
